Improving Our Feature Presentation
This project originally started with the goal of creating a more user-friendly experience on any device, while increasing ticket sales. This evolved into a complete front-end rewrite that now provides a more intuitive user experience, both for customers and those maintaining content.
Major Plot Point
Our greatest challenge was balancing between using caching to provide optimal performance and requesting the most up-to-date content possible, while working with the existing Drupal 7 platform. Because the site acts as a central hub for many third-party integrations, preserving the existing functionality while making in-place improvements was critical for the project’s success. After a detailed discovery, we were able to document all data pipelines and workflows to ensure there were no disruptions to the integrated system during our process.
